Mary Hendrickson

Born in 1949, Mary Hendrickson, a retired teacher residing on Whidbey Island in Puget Sound, Washington, has always had a passion for storytelling and history. Her 40-year teaching career, including 17 years at a home for juvenile delinquent boys, has deeply influenced her understanding of human nature and the power of personal transformation.

Drawing from her 17 years of experience working at a home for juvenile delinquent boys and her involvement in her church as a deaconess, Hendrickson’s narrative explores themes of personal growth, self-discovery, and the transformative power of belief.

In her retirement, she remains an active member of her church community and continues to nurture her creative spirit through crafting and card-making.
